Relying on her experience of over twenty years in
design firm administration and management, Carole Steadham, Hon.
AIA, SDA/C, President of Placement by Design, provides a valued
resource for the design profession. Utilizing her knowledge of the
industry and understanding of firms’ needs, carefully screened professional
candidates are placed in design and construction firms nationwide.
Carole’s recognition for service to the design industry, by the
American Institute of Architects as Honorary Member, contributes
to the success of Placement By Design.
Carole
Steadham, for over two decades, has been recognized as an effective
administrator and manager in design firms and as a leader of the
Society for Design Administration, the mission of which is "to
promote the exchange of ideas and to educate its members in the
related disciplines of design administration." She served as
national president of SDA in 1999-2000.
Through
the Society for Design Administration (SDA) as National President
and as Affiliate Relations Chair, Carole’s networking opportunities
are global. These networking opportunities expand to all design
disciplines by working with the American Institute of Architects
(AIA), American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Society
for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS), and Construction Specifications
Institute (CSI).
